Woolmark Optim WR Jacket

Is this jacket waterproof?

No. The jacket is not waterproof, but it is water resistant and can withstand a shower. It is also wind resistant.

Why are the seams taped?

Taped seams will help the jacket resist water for longer.

Why is the jacket unique?

The jacket is resistant to water and wind, while retaining Merino wool’s breathability which helps stop the jacket becoming clammy to wear.

Is there a separate style for men and women?

No. The jacket is unisex, meaning that there is only one style (suitable for both men and women).

How do I clean the jacket?

Warm gentle machine wash. Wash in wool detergent. Do not bleach or soak. Do not tumble dry. Do not iron taped seams and printed areas.

Who can receive a discount on the jacket?

AWI shareholders and other Australian wool levy payers are eligible to receive a discount on the jacket. They will be charged $185 per jacket. In order to claim this discount, you must provide your AWI Shareholder or Levy Payer Reference Number

Members of the public will be charged $245 per jacket.

Where do I find my AWI Shareholder or Levy Payer Reference Number?

If you are an AWI shareholder, you will have an AWI Shareholder Reference Number. If you are a wool levy payer, but not an AWI shareholder, you will have a Levy Payer Reference Number.

The AWI Shareholder or Levy Payer Reference Number is located on the front of your AWI Shareholder Card or AWI Levy Payer Card, or other AWI shareholder or wool levy communications. A Reference Number can have up to 12 characters, starting with an 'I' followed by an up to 11 digit number, for example 'I00012345678'.
