All of us living in rural and regional areas have been impacted by the increased cost of fuel and fertiliser, plus the challenge of getting enough supply.

At Australian Wool Innovation we are joining with governments and industry partners to pool our knowledge so that the best possible decisions can be made.

While we cannot advocate for policy we have been able to share the experience of woolgrowers around Australia as price and access challenges arose for two of the most basic building blocks of Ag - diesel and fertiliser.

The challenges are unlikely to pass quickly and that will mean a tougher year irrespective of the season, how much wool you grow or crop you sow.

As a grower owned RDC we are always happy to share your insights on this issue or any other with the wider industry or with the Commonwealth.

You can drop us a line at feedback@wool.com.
