Applications are now open for Breeding Leadership 2022 -- an Australian Wool Innovation program that is all about providing skills and knowledge to young leaders in the industry.

Applications are now open for Breeding Leadership 2022 - an Australian Wool Innovation program that is all about providing skills and knowledge to young leaders in the industry.

AWI Chief Executive Officer Stuart McCullough says Breeding Leadership is a important program.

“This will be the ninth time we have run the course and it has helped more than 200 young wool leaders.

“If you are interested in our great industry this is perfect way to take your knowledge to the next level.

Breeding Leadership continues to demonstrate AWI’s commitment to capacity development and the next generation of the wool industry”.

Funded by Australian Wool Innovation (AWI), and facilitated by Pinion Advisory, Breeding Leadership aims to empower young wool industry participants to step into leadership roles within their community.

Breeding Leadership is a flagship investment under AWI’s Leadership and Capacity Building program. Breeding Leadership aims to nurture young leaders to enable them to continue to drive the wool industry forward into the future.

The program is open to young people actively working in the wool industry.

The 5-day program will be delivered in Clare SA during February 2022.

Information about the program and how to apply can be found here: https://www.wool.com/people/education-and-leadership/breeding-leadership/

Applications are open from today, closing on 30 September 2021.
