Australian Wool Innovation (AWI) has announced the three Director positions that will be vacated ahead of this November’s Annual General Meeting.

  • Chairman Jock Laurie is retiring and not seeking re-election in line with the company’s 10-year limit on director terms.
  • Director Emma Weston is resigning and not seeking re-election.
  • Director Michelle Humphries is seeking re-election.

The AWI Board has seven members.

Directors Georgia Hack, Neil Jackson, Don Macdonald and George Millington are not up for re-election.

Ms Weston, the founder and CEO of AgriDigital, was elected to the Board in November 2023.

Mr Laurie paid tribute to Ms Weston’s contribution to the company. “Emma’s energy and experience as a director will be missed. We are keen to continue to draw on her expertise in specific areas once she leaves the Board.”

The AWI AGM will be held in Sydney on November 14th.
