SimpliFly is a one-day workshop developed to help woolgrowers reduce the incidence and impact of flystrike on their flocks and their profit.

AWI is looking for woolgrowers to participate in SimpliFly pilot workshops to critically evaluate the content, ensuring the workshop is by growers, for growers.

AWI's new flystrike workshop, SimpliFly, brings together best practice flystrike management information into a workshop format to help woolgrowers review their integrated flystrike management plan, specific to their property.

The interactive workshop will allow growers to explore the many short- and long-term management tools and strategies available to them to help combat flystrike.

You will work through practical activities that enable you to combine these strategies and tools for your own property, building a customised annual flystrike management plan relevant to your environment, sheep type and farm operations.

Being proactive and planning how to combat flystrike on an annual basis will help you stay ahead of fly waves, delivering better animal health and welfare outcomes and saving time, money and production losses.

Your feedback during these pilot workshops is essential and will contribute to the final resources. Once the resources are complete, train the trainer sessions will be held for consultants nationwide and the workshop made available to woolgrowers via AWI's grower extension networks.

Attendance at the pilot workshops is free and AWI will supply everything you need on the day.
