POSITION PURPOSE

To work closely with the Marketing Communications team in Sydney HQ, to support on the ideation, development and execution of marketing and communications activities for The Woolmark Company.

This role is focused on assisting with the daily operations required to support a dynamic marketing team, working on a broad range of projects including but not limited to research and planning, execution of activities across marketing, digital and social media, event management, and reporting.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Support the development and delivery of global marketing and communications projects through background research, proposal preparation, and assistance in creating communication and content plans across digital and offline channels.
  • Work closely with the trade, consumer and content project managers across The Woolmark Company’s programs — including designer initiatives, brand collaborations, trade engagement and consumer-facing campaigns — to support timelines, stakeholder coordination, collateral development and execution.
  • Maintain and regularly update the global marketing calendar, ensuring visibility and alignment across internal teams.
  • Research and track industry trends across fashion, sustainability, fibre innovation and marketing best practice, sharing insights to support innovation and global alignment.
  • Compile monthly PR reports (Cision, Tribe Dynamics) and support global markets with data collection, analysis and reporting.
  • Prepare annual global PR reports, monthly press clipping summaries and global PR network updates.

Project & Campaign Support

  • Collect, organise and manage campaign content and assets from agencies, regional teams and partners.
  • Coordinate campaign meetings, workshops and reviews; prepare and distribute agendas, minutes and action items.
  • Manage approval workflows and ensure timely sign-off from key internal stakeholders.
  • Draft and coordinate internal communications related to campaign updates and project progress.
  • Upload and manage campaign materials in Optimizely.

Communications & Content Support

  • Coordinate translation and proofing of marketing copy (excluding WFB licensee content).
  • Manage website updates across Woolmark platforms, including Woolmark.com, My.Woolmark, Woogle and WeChat, ensuring accurate content upload, localisation and maintenance.
  • Support monthly newsletter production (e.g., Woolmark for BusinessLicensee Exclusive) including content collation, formatting, and managing approvals.
  • Assist with social media campaign preparation, scheduling and content coordination.
  • Maintain and update internal and partner distribution lists within Salesforce and Pardot.
  • Gather partner updates, approvals, assets and brand information from regional teams and consolidate for internal use.

Monitoring, Reporting & Insights

  • Collect and consolidate campaign performance data from Domo, Salesforce, Google Analytics and external agencies.
  • Prepare monthly KPI dashboards, reporting summaries and insights packages.
  • Conduct basic industry, competitor and market research to support strategic reporting and planning.
  • Provide regular status reports and wrap-ups to the broader Marketing Communications team.

Finance & Budget Administration

  • Support the processing of contracts, purchase orders and invoices across the Marketing & Communications function.
  • Maintain project budget spreadsheets and ensure alignment with SAP records and financial reconciliations.
  • Assist with cost tracking, budget monitoring and financial documentation.

General Administration

  • Provide routine administrative support for the Global Communications team, including inbox management, meeting coordination and general office tasks.
  • Maintain internal Optimizely project trackers, templates and asset libraries.
  • Draft and circulate internal updates, team communications and progress reports as required.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements for team members and external partners engaging in marketing and communications projects.
  • Organise and facilitate meetings, workshops and conference calls, including minute-taking and action tracking.
  • Support internal systems administration including CRM updates and SAP processing.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

Qualifications

  • Degree at 2:1 or above in Marketing or Communications, or similar discipline preferred

Work Experience

  • Min 2 years previous experience working in a Marketing and Communications role is essential

Technical Skills/Knowledge

  • Fashion specific knowledge required
  • Keen interest in monitoring innovation in the fashion digital and social media landscapes
  • Intermediate+ skills in Microsoft Office particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint
