WoolQ supports the whole wool growing and selling cycle

2월 13, 2019 How does WoolQ support the whole of my business? The wool growing and selling cycle comprises of five major stages: Firstly, growers start at the shearing stage by using the WoolQ eSpeci. The WoolQ eSpeci app replaces the paper speci in shed and can be accessed on a mobile device. Once you are ready to submit the eSpeci and have an internet connection, the information is sent to the brokers system electronically. In the second stage, test results are sent back into WoolQ electronically. The grower receives the results at the same time as their broker. They are stored digitally and easily accessed within WoolQ. In the third stage, test results are used to estimate returns for the clip. The WoolQ tool provides growers with an accurate pricing guide for the sale of their wool through a simple calculator. In the fourth stage, the wool is sold. WoolQ Market will be open for trading at the end of the first quarter of 2019. WoolQ Market will provide both a bulletin board and auction for brokers and buyers. In the fifth and final stage, all the details about the final sale of the clip are sent back from the broker to WoolQ for storage and analysis. WoolQ provides a central archive of your clip information with simple tools to compare your clips from one season to the next. WoolQ is still in its infancy and the growers who have now completed the whole cycle in 2018 have only one clips worth of information in their WoolQ account. But this information is stored and will continue to build year on year. These growers are making an investment in the future so that in a few years they will easily gain rich insights into their wool production trends and leave an invaluable asset for future generations to come.
