Future options to improve immunity
Research in pen trials indicates that diets that inflame the lining of the intestine speed up the development of immunity to black scour worms. Examples of these diets include kidney beans, some oils and some trace minerals.
Sheep have been vaccinated against worms experimentally. Vaccines against worms are not commercially available.
