Wethers/dry ewes

Adult wethers and dry over two years old
These are the most worm resistant sheep on the property. If well grown and well fed, their immune system is well developed.

Use these sheep to help create low worm risk paddocks for lambing ewes and for weaners if cattle are not available.

If you are in a semi-arid pastoral zone, your sheep may get very little exposure to worms. Under these conditions, they will not have developed any immunity to worms and could be very susceptible to any challenge.

Regular worm egg counts will quickly identify any increase in worm activity.
