AWI and Meat & Livestock Australia jointly developed best management practice guidelines and case studies on managing African lovegrass, Chilean needle grass and Silverleaf Nightshade.
Along with Paterson’s curse and Onopordum thistles, AWI and MLA funded the release of biological control agents for blue heliotrope and horehound. A leaf-feeding beetle was released for blue heliotrope. The plume moth and clearwing moth were released for horehound.
