The Woolmark licensing program cover yarns, fabrics and most articles of clothing, as well as apparel care, carpets and upholstery.
To ensure that our specifications are consistently interpreted by licensees and test houses world-wide, we have developed a comprehensive set of test methods which describe in detail the procedures that must be followed in assessing the performance criteria which are shown in the product specification sheets.
Note: As part of our new strategic plan, we have amended the product specifications that apply to products which are marketed under the Woolmark brands. These amended product specifications methods took effect on 15 December 2009.
In December 2009 we further advised our licensees that some Woolmark specifications will be updated, effective from 1 January 2011.
