Woven trends

Like every season exhibitors and visitors from all over the world have gathered for the presentation of the latest collections for all apparel sectors and insight on fashion directions for the coming season at the two leading international textile trade shows for the apparel industry, Premiere Vision in Paris and Milano Unica in Milan which includes Italy’s high-end wool spinners at Ideabiella.

The concepts behind the trends and collections at show centred on what have by now become key issues of the market, such as cultural tradition, luxury appeal and highest technological innovation paired with a strong demand for naturalness, which are concepts that correspond entirely to the inherent qualities of Wool, confirming Australian Merino as one of the eminent fibres of the season.

The fashion information presented from the respective trend committees at the two exhibitions agree on the main style directions for the season such as full volume, light weight, woolly and feathery texture, rich high quality feel, visual as well as textural 3D effects and intense but refined chromatic impact.
