Australian Wool Innovation (AWI) held its 2009 Annual General Meeting (AGM) at 10am on Friday 27 November at the Grace Hotel, 77 York Street, Sydney NSW.

Election results

AWI shareholders re-elected three board members who retied by rotation – Wal Merriman, Roger Fletcher and Chick Olsson.

Votes in favour
Mr Walter B Merriman 169,976
Mr Charles (Chick) Olsson 161,693
Mr Roger Fletcher 176,810

Amendment of AWI Constitution

AWI shareholders also agreed (162,475 votes in favour) to change the AWI Constitution so that an election of directors retiring by rotation must now take place every two years.
