A unique opportunity for selected rural and regional leaders to undertake a program of personal growth and skills development. The program also builds the individuals knowledge and networks, increasing their effectiveness to contribute to industry and community development at the regional, state, national and international levels.
The objective of the program is to increase the economic, social and environmental benefits for the people, communities and industries of rural Australia by developing and supporting committed rural and regional leaders to become inspired and highly effective at regional, state, national and international levels.
The Program is for women and men, already active in community or industry affairs, who:
Participants must commit to engage with sponsors, industry and community about the learnings you have gained from participating in the Australian Rural Leadership Program and continue to use these learnings for the advancement of rural and regional Australia. To balance the requirements of leadership experience and long term return on investment. Selection is competitive. In the past, the Foundation has received around 150 applications and interviewed some 70 applicants for the 35 or so positions on each course.
