Kara Hurry, Senior Business Development Manager for Australian Wool Innovation commented, “It is fantastic to see programmes supporting education within the fashion industry and assisting in placing students within the industry. Education is integral in maintaining an understanding of wool and appreciation of the natural fibre within the global fashion industry”.
The training opportunity is open to a wide variety of age groups. Students from 16 to 19 years of age can train for free, while those aged 19 to 24 can apply for subsidised places.
