On the 23rd March Australian Wool Innovation conducted a Young Woolgrower Workshop, followed by the Woolgrower Consultation Day on the 24th March.
About the Young Grower Workshop
This workshop focused on what’s important for younger growers and future industry leaders, with the aim to provide AWI’s on-farm team with valuable insight to their needs and aspirations. These projects focus around building leadership, grower networks and R&D extension.

About the Woolgrower Consultation Day
This Forum is an important part of AWI’s annual planning cycle to ensure input from shareholders. Similar to Woolgrower Forums held in previous years, approximately 100 woolgrowers and industry representatives were invited to attend and participate. AWI sought input to the development of its Operating Plan in light of the current industry environment and outcomes from the plans implemented by AWI in 2010/11.
